Bringing ManifestWorks to the UK

In 2024 friends Jessie, Diveen and Ric shared a vision: to bring the transformative power of ManifestWorks to the UK. Their combined experience formed the perfect foundation for success: Ric, a long-time volunteer mentor in LA, understood the programme’s proven impact; Diveen provided critical connections to the UK’s film and television industry; and Jessie brought a lifelong career in the UK charity sector.

They recognised a compelling opportunity: using their relationships with production companies and community organisations and services to address the urgent need for social mobility in the UK. The idea crystallised when Ric introduced the team to ManifestWorks founder Dan Seaver, turning a shared spark of inspiration into a reality.

Dan Seaver

Dan is one of the founders of ManifestWorks and the current executive director of the organisation. A former journalist and advertising copywriter, he spent more than a decade as a volunteer in a Los Angeles youth incarceration facility, and served as a Commissioner for the Los Angeles County Probation Department until 2021. He is a father to Max.

Chip Warren

A founding member of ManifestWorks, Chip is an author and filmmaker. He spent nearly a decade producing documentary film and television, focusing on the American criminal justice system. He's currently living in Europe, where he is directing a feature documentary and completing his debut novel, With Love, Budapest.
